Tire Tread
Authorities in Cape Coral, Florida are on the hunt for a shoplifter with tire tracks on her back. A T.J. Maxx security guard told police that a woman was caught stuffing six designer purses into her pants and then fled the scene only to be run over by her getaway car…twice.
Eyewitnesses said that she tried to get into the car but fell out and was run over by the car. Not knowing what to do NEXT, she jumped onto the hood of the fleeing getaway vehicle as it passed by for a second attempt. Her grip failed and she was flung from the car, and…run over again. On her third attempt she made it safely (?) into the car!
We’ve all had those moments when we just didn’t know what to do NEXT. Hopefully it wasn’t at the scene of a double hit-and-run. Join us tomorrow at Dialogue Church as we try to learn how to be led by the Spirit of God as we move from “where we are to where we want to be”.

About As Good
13 01 2009I was hanging out with Nick the other day at Starbucks and we were talking about Dialogue Church. If you didn’t know, Nick and his family recently relocated from Kokomo to Muncie and became part of our church family.
Nick has a way with words…
When I asked him what he thought about Dialogue, he said, “It’s about as good as you’re gonna get in Muncie.” I couldn’t stop laughing and teased him about it all night. I found this pic of Nick and could resist making another promo for Dialogue. Feel free to save the image and use it to invite your friends to Dialogue. I mean, honestly, they’re not gonna find much better…in Muncie anyway.

Atheists Hit the Road
6 01 2009(I originally found this story on www.good.is )
In reaction to a Christian marketing campaign, a group of British atheists have launched a media blitz of their own. The “British Humanist Society” has purchased advertising space on 800 buses rolling through streets of London and 1000 posters perched in retail districts and subways. Their slogan, “There’s Probably No God…Now Stop Worrying and Enjoy Life,” wages holy war with church propaganda on bumper stickers and billboards.

I think it’s amazing!
I don’t know what church the Atheist organization is reacting against, and I have no idea what the offensive message was, but I am thrilled. People are listening! People are reacting! People are joining the conversation!
How long has the church been ignored? For how long has our message fallen on deaf ears? Thank God that people are listening again. I can only imagine the financial investment it must have taken to purchase ad space in London on such scale! I wonder how many good people with real questions got together to plan the bus adds and billboards. It only happened because the church opened the door for conversation. Let’s meet them where they are and dialogue! Let’s get real with our own worries, and then sit down and listen to theirs. Let’s take their advice and enjoy life! Really love and laugh and wonder and experiment and LIVE!
Let’s listen.
And let’s join the conversation.
